VaultCon III Partner: Victim-Witness Services of Coconino County
VWS is a trauma informed 501c3 non-profit agency. The VWS team provides outreach, advocacy and support services to Coconino County residents during high crisis situations through holistic and wrap around services that include: 24/7 Mobile Advocacy, Criminal Justice Court Advocacy, Case Management, After-Care, and Education.
VWS has been directly impactful in my life this year and I am pleased to find a means to support them through Vault. Their service in response to trauma in our region is immediate, experienced, and powerful.
Again, from their website:
Victim Witness Services offers numerous programs and services driven by the concept of assisting persons impacted by interpersonal crime or crisis in the transcendence from victim to survivor. We employ evidence-based practices and approaches to facilitate this transition, such as trauma-informed care, the Empowerment Model, and the Ecological Model.
VWS assists victims, survivors, and witnesses who have experienced crimes such as: Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Homicide, Child Sexual and Physical Abuse, Assault, Robbery, and DUI crimes with victim injury or fatality.
And this year, in addition to providing a portion of our ticket sales, available now in our store, we'll have a station setup for you to securely donate to support VWS directly. Or show your support now!
We look forward to giving back to our community with VaultCon and through donation of our services to nonprofits. We may be a small business in Northern Arizona, but we do what we can.

In other VaultCon news, we are looking to schedule our guest game masters! Our current schedule looks something like this:
11:00 am - Shadowrun Anarchy RPG with Game Master Caleb
12:00 pm - First Tabletop Game Slot
2:00 pm - Take 'Em For All They're Worth Homebrew RPG with Game Master Richard
3:00 pm - Second Tabletop Game Slot
5:00 pm - Final Roleplaying Game Slot
6:00 pm - Black Stories by Game Master Austin
As you can see, we still have space for you to show off one of your gaming favorites, demo a homemade game, or recruit RPG players for an introductory one shot. We'd also love to see players try out clever one-page games like Honey Heist (PDF) and Fuck! It's Dracula! (If you're a Maximum Fun supporter, the Adventure Zone ran a hilarious Honey Heist session available in their bonus content and One Shot had an excellent session of Fuck! It's Dracula! available here.) We're happy to provide game mats, miniatures, and printouts as needed. As always, game masters gain free entry.
But hey! Tickets are only $12 after tax! And remember, all profits from ticket sales go to Victim-Witness Services! (You read the above, right?) So be sure to RSVP at our Facebook event or on Meetup and pick up your tickets today! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
